Your Energy is Planting Something… What Are You Growing?

You cannot plant one kind of thought and reap another. You cannot plant discord and expect harmony. You cannot sow stinginess and reap generosity.

— Raymond Holliwell

There’s something deeply humbling—and incredibly empowering—about this idea.

Because whether we realize it or not, every day we are planting seeds.

The way we think about ourselves, the energy we bring into our conversations, the quiet assumptions we hold about what’s possible… it all adds up.

These invisible patterns become the atmosphere of our lives. And eventually, what we’ve sown beneath the surface begins to bloom.

Sometimes that bloom is beautiful. Other times, it shows us where we’ve been out of alignment with what we truly want.

I’ve experienced this in my own journey. There were seasons where I was striving so hard to “do the right thing” but still felt disconnected from joy, purpose, and abundance.

And when I got still enough to listen, I realized—I had been moving through life with thoughts of fear, lack, and self-doubt quietly running the show.

I wanted harmony, but I was planting worry.
I wanted abundance, but I was sowing scarcity.
I wanted deeper connection, but I was withholding my full self.

That realization was a turning point.

Because the Law of Compensation teaches us that life responds not just to what we want—but to what we think, believe, and give.

When we align our thoughts, words, and actions with the energy of what we wish to receive, we open the channel for it to return to us.

This isn’t about perfection. It’s about presence.

So ask yourself:
– Are your thoughts planting seeds of self-trust or self-doubt?
– Is your energy creating more openness or more resistance?
– Are you giving what you most desire to receive—whether that’s love, generosity, respect, or freedom?

When we begin to live in integrity with what we truly want—when our inner landscape mirrors the life we desire—things begin to shift.

It’s not always immediate. But it is inevitable. Because what you plant with intention, you will eventually harvest.

Choose your seeds wisely. They become your life.
