Every now and then, something comes along that offers a fresh, beautifully articulated perspective on the timeless truths.
That’s how I felt when I recently came across an Instagram reel from the wise and grounded teacher, Sister Jayanti (@brahmakumarisuk).
She shared a simple yet profound acronym she created: FARDIP – the 6 postures of the mind.
I loved how beautifully it echoed the universal mindset principles that helped me transform my life, and that I share with clients who are on their own journeys of building lives of meaning, alignment, and joy.
Because living intentionally, and building your dream isn’t just about action – it’s about how we hold ourselves, mentally and emotionally, as we move toward what we desire.
These six postures offer a powerful internal framework to help us do just that.
Here’s how FARDIP comes to life in the context of creating a soul-aligned life:
F – Focus
Your focus determines your reality. When you choose to give your attention to what matters most, you begin to shape your life with intention, instead of living in reaction. Focus helps you stay centered on your vision, even when the world gets loud.
A – Attitude
Sister Jayanti referred to this as the “spine of the mind.” Your attitude influences how you interpret challenges, show up in your relationships, and pursue your goals. A grounded, hopeful attitude keeps you rooted in possibility.
R – Resilience
The path to any dream will test you. Resilience is your ability to absorb, adapt, and keep moving forward without losing your center. It’s less about force and more about flexibility, trust, and remembering your ‘why.’
D – Discipline/Determination
This is where desire meets commitment. Discipline means choosing what you want most over what’s easy in the moment. It’s a form of devotion to your vision – and to yourself.
I – Intention
Action is powerful, but only when it’s anchored in intention. When you move with clear purpose, your energy becomes more focused, your path more aligned, and your results more meaningful.
P – Presence
You can’t build a future that feels good if you’re disconnected from the present. Presence is the grounding force that keeps you in your body, connected to your wisdom, and able to respond instead of react.
Together, these six postures create an inner architecture, a mental foundation that supports the outer work of living into a vision.
Whether you’re clarifying your vision, making aligned decisions, or navigating setbacks, FARDIP helps you stay rooted in your power and purpose.
When we embody these qualities, we create the conditions for a life that’s not only successful by outer standards—but deeply joyful, meaningful, and true to who we are.
It’s so beautiful how truth and guidance can come through so many different voices and lenses. It reminds me that we’re never done learning – only deepening.
And sometimes, hearing something framed in a new way is what helps it finally land.
